At the foot of the Orsiera-Rocciavrè Park, there is a classic mountain farm whose business was designed specifically for the potentials of the Alpine area and to take advantage of its products.
This human establishment arose primarily from the strong will to maintain a balance between humans and nature, and its ICEA-certified organic farming is the underlying theme for the whole undertaking. Ancient apple varieties are made into juice and treasured mountain honeys (lime, acacia and sage, rhododendron and Alpine wildflowers) are produced, and, from the vines perched on the steep slopes facing the Dora, nectars are created from the Avanà, Barbera, Bequet and Ciliegiolo grape varieties that express the sensations of the mountain. Cinzia and Gianni are sharing their philosophy with the many students they welcome to their teaching farm.
